Delete your KuNect account

Applies to the KuNect app on iOS and Android.

Delete from the app

Open KuNect and go to your Profile tab.
Tap the Settings icon in the top-right corner.
Tap Delete account.
Confirm, then enter your password. Your account is deleted immediately.

Can't access the app?

Email billjeshbaidya@gmail.com from the university email address you signed up with and include your username. We will delete your account within 7 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

Your account and profile (name, username, email, password, department, interests, bio, profile photo)
All your posts and anonymous Gossip posts, including their images, likes and comments on them
Your likes, pokes, blocks, hidden posts, reports you made and notifications
Your anonymous Gossip identity
Your conversations and chat messages

What may be kept

Comments you left on other people's posts are kept as "[deleted]" with their text removed, so reply threads stay readable.
Backups and server logs may contain your data for a limited time until they are overwritten.
